BOHOL
Bohol is an island province in the Philippines located in the Central Visayas region. . The province is a popular destination for its beaches, resorts and historical churches. The Chocolate Hills, numerous mounds of limestone formation, is Bohol’s most popular attraction. The island of Panglao, located just southwest of Tagbilaran City, is famous for its diving locations and listed as one of the diving destinations in the world. Numerous world class resorts dot this area catering to intrepid divers around the world.

Volunteers may be involved in various activities and projects in the area such as:
Mangrove Planting - Engage in mangrove planting at the most successful mangrove reforested area in Asia! Take time out from the white powdered beaches of Boracay and help fight the degradation of mangroves. The Bakhawan Eco-park covers 106 hectares of mangrove forest in Aklan. There are 36 hectares of mudflats that need to be planted.

Sign up with the Halcon Heritage Forest Museum at San Teodoro, The Halcon Heritage Forest Museum’s advocacy is the conservation of biodiversity through trees, specifically from alien species invasion. The project hopes to bring back the indigenous trees which had been depleted as a result of these invasions.
